Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Data Health Population Specialist in Lisbon to shape local data strategy and deliver analytics and dashboard solutions across the healthcare ecosystem.

You will lead end-to-end dashboard development, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate data into actionable insights for business and medical priorities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health/Medical Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, dashboard development, business intelligence, reporting, or data management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain local data strategy aligned to business and medical needs, with a focus on reporting, analytics, and dashboard delivery.
• Lead end-to-end development of dashboards from requirements gathering to KPI design, visualization, testing, publication and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate data collection, integration, cleaning, transformation and harmonisation from multiple sources for analysis-ready datasets.
• Perform descriptive and exploratory analytics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across healthcare and business data.
• Support AI-enabled tools in compliant, governance-driven processes for data prep, validation, and reporting workflows.
