Job summary

TALEO Consulting Group in Lisbon seeks a Senior PMO / Program Director Support to back a multi-year transformation program in a major international bank. Based in Portugal, you will run transversal PMO across the portfolio and report to Group Program Direction.

The role requires proven experience in complex finance transformations, governance at executive level, and fluent French for governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Senior transformation program management experience in the financial services sector.
• Recent experience on similar missions in financial services within the last 2 years.
• Strong command of PMO tools: dashboards, budget tracking and risk management.
• Experience running executive-level governance and reporting.
• Fluent French (mandatory).
• Based in Portugal (mandatory).
• Available to start on 2 November 2026.

• Run the transversal PMO: planning, risk management, and inter-workstream dependencies and blockers.
• Organise and run governance bodies (Opco, Steerco, Exco).
• Produce multi-level reporting for Group Program Direction, the Executive Committee and Finance.

Senior PMO / Program Director Support – Transformation Program

Lisbon, Portugal | Consulting mission | Start: 2 November 2026

Context

Our client, a leading international banking group, is launching a multi-year strategic transformation program within its global Procurement & Performance function, which covers around 1,400 professionals. The program focuses on operational efficiency and cost optimisation across several workstreams: automation, AI, Target Operating Model and shoring. Each workstream is sponsored by a member of the function’s Executive Committee.

We are looking for a senior consultant based in Lisbon to support the Program Director and run the transversal PMO across the full program portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the transversal PMO: planning, risk management, and inter-workstream dependencies and blockers
• Organise and run governance bodies (Opco, Steerco, Exco)
• Produce multi-level reporting for Group Program Direction, the Executive Committee and Finance
• Support strategic arbitrations, roadmap definition and milestone tracking
• Manage program documentation and knowledge management

Profile

• Senior profile with proven experience in managing complex transformation programs in the financial services sector
• At least one similar mission in financial services within the last 2 years
• Strong command of PMO tools: dashboards, budget tracking and risk management
• Experience running executive-level governance and reporting
• Fluent French (mandatory): all program governance and reporting is conducted in French
• Based in Portugal (mandatory)
• Available to start on 2 November 2026

Nice to have

• Experience in Procurement, cost optimisation, operating model or shoring programs
• Knowledge of the steering tools and governance practices of large French banking groups
