Match Profiler is seeking a Senior PLM Domain Mechanical CAD Expert to join a hybrid team in Lisbon. You will provide 2nd-level support for PLM/MCAD environments, drive solution deployments, and optimize mechanical design and PLM processes.

You will work with Siemens NX and Teamcenter, developing automation with NX Open and languages like C#, C++, Python, enabling updated workflows and higher productivity across engineering teams.

Qualificações

• Senior Mechanical CAD / PLM Expert with strong experience in MCAD environments.
• 2nd-level support, solution design, and process optimization.
• Automation of MCAD applications using NX Open (C#, C++, Python, PowerShell or VB).
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems and design documentation best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 2nd-level support for PLM/MCAD environments and manage incidents.
• Plan, specify, implement, test, and coordinate solution deployments with stakeholders.
• Support PLM operations including performance, training, and documentation.
• Assist engineering teams with mechanical designs, assemblies, drawings, and PMI documentation.
• Customize and automate MCAD apps to improve efficiency and integration with development processes.
• Provide technical support for MCAD and PLM systems (design, visualization, data management).
• Develop and optimize design workflows to improve reliability and productivity.
• Analyze requirements and implement effective technical solutions.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure quality.

PLM Domain Mechanical CAD Expert | Hybrid (2x/week in Lisbon)

What we are looking for

Senior Mechanical CAD / PLM Expert with strong experience in application support, mechanical engineering processes, and MCAD environments. The role focuses on second-level support, solution design, process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of mechanical design and PLM operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd-level support for PLM/MCAD environments, including incident and problem management.
• Plan, specify, implement, test, and coordinate solution deployments with relevant stakeholders.
• Support PLM operations, including application performance, infrastructure, user support, training, and documentation.
• Support engineering teams in the creation and maintenance of mechanical designs, assemblies, drawings, and PMI-based documentation.
• Customize and automate MCAD applications to improve efficiency and integration within development processes.
• Provide technical support for MCAD and PLM systems, including design, visualization, and product data management solutions.
• Develop and optimize design and engineering workflows to improve reliability and productivity.
• Analyze business and engineering requirements and implement effective technical solutions.
• Perform testing and validation activities to ensure quality and functionality.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience with MCAD tools such as Siemens NX or comparable solutions.
• Experience with Teamcenter Visualization and PLM/PDM systems.
• Solid background in mechanical design, MCAD support, and optimization of engineering and development processes.
• Experience programming and automating MCAD applications using NX Open and languages such as C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, or Visual Basic.
• Experience supporting technical systems and processes within engineering environments.
• Knowledge of R&D product development processes, particularly in mechanical or hardware development, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and stakeholder management experience.
• Business-fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
