act digital is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to lead enterprise-wide Platform Engineering standards and the Internal Developer Platform strategy. You will define reusable capabilities, guardrails, and reference architectures, while aligning with security and business goals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proven experience defining and governing enterprise-wide platform standards and reference architectures.
• Strong experience with AWS in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advanced experience with GitLab, including CI/CD frameworks and software delivery automation.
• Strong experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Define, govern, and promote enterprise-wide Platform Engineering standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, engineering guardrails, technical standards, and operating procedures.
• Establish reusable platform capabilities adopted across product teams.
• Ensure alignment between platform strategy, enterprise architecture, security, and business objectives.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical reviews for scalable, secure platforms.
• Define and monitor platform engineering KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Own and evolve Internal Developer Platform strategy and capabilities.
• Design self-service capabilities to enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate apps efficiently.
• Build reusable templates, templates, and developer portals to improve developer experience.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, capacity, scalability, and cost, driving operational excellence.

Internal Developer Platform

• Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform strategy.
• Design self-service capabilities that allow engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently.
• Define and implement Golden Paths for common development and deployment scenarios.
• Build reusable templates, standardized workflows, shared platform services, and developer portals.
• Improve the developer experience by simplifying access to infrastructure, environments, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling.
• Identify friction points across the software delivery lifecycle and implement scalable engineering solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native application environments using AWS.
• Develop secure and scalable infrastructure patterns for development, testing, and production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues across multiple environments.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, capacity, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Promote standardization and automation across cloud and infrastructure services.
• Design, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Establish secure and scalable patterns for deploying cloud-native applications.
• Define standards for container lifecycle management, workload orchestration, networking, configuration, and security.
• Support engineering teams in adopting Kubernetes and cloud-native delivery models.
• Ensure platform resilience, availability, and operational readiness.

CI/CD & Software Delivery

• Define and govern enterprise CI/CD frameworks and deployment standards.
• Build and maintain reusable CI/CD templates and automated delivery workflows.
• Improve software delivery speed, reliability, traceability, and security.
• Integrate testing, security checks, compliance controls, and deployment automation into delivery pipelines.
• Support standardization across source control, build, release, and deployment processes.
• Identify and eliminate repetitive manual activities through automation.

Observability & Reliability

• Design and implement observability capabilities across platform services and application environments.
• Establish standards for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Promote the adoption of Service Level Objectives, Service Level Agreements, and reliability engineering practices.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and operational improvement activities.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, capacity, and cost.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.

DevSecOps & Compliance

• Embed security requirements throughout the software development and delivery lifecycle.
• Implement and promote DevSecOps practices across engineering teams.
• Support vulnerability management, secrets management, policy-as-code, and compliance automation.
• Strengthen software supply chain security across build and deployment processes.
• Ensure platform components and delivery pipelines comply with enterprise security standards.
• Collaborate with Security teams to define and enforce appropriate engineering guardrails.
• Lead platform adoption initiatives across multiple product and development teams.
• Support teams in implementing enterprise standards, Golden Paths, and platform best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and enablement to engineering teams.
• Create and maintain clear platform documentation, onboarding materials, and operational procedures.
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across Engineering, DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Operations.
• Collect developer feedback and use it to continuously improve platform capabilities and user experience.

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Platform Engineering
• DevOps
• Site Reliability Engineering
• Proven experience defining and governing enterprise-wide platform standards, engineering practices, and reference architectures.
• Strong experience working with AWS in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advanced experience with GitLab, including CI/CD frameworks and software delivery automation.
• Strong experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Proven experience building or operating Internal Developer Platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, observability, reliability, and cloud-native engineering practices.
• Experience supporting multiple product and development teams within complex enterprise environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
