SOFICO in Porto is expanding its Platform Engineer team to design and automate cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Azure, Terraform and Ansible. You will drive infrastructure modernization, improve reliability, and mentor peers in engineering standards.

Qualificações

• Proven experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, and a major cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
• Familiarity with Oracle/MS SQL and core networking concepts (DNS, firewalls).
• Fluency in English with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working directly with customers, including joining calls and solving issues.

Responsabilidades

• Build environments and microservices using Kubernetes, Azure, and on-premise infra.
• Utilize Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps workflows.
• Maintain global environments using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Loki).
• Help customers and Sofico teams solve complex technical challenges.
• Transform legacy components into scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering standards across the company.

From our ofice in Porto, we are expanding our team with multiple Platform Engineers. In this role, you will design and automate cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Azure, Terraform, and Ansible to support global automotive leaders. Additionally, you will drive infrastructure modernization and ensure high system reliability through advanced monitoring.

What you’ll do...

What you bring...
