SOFICO in Porto seeks a Software Engineer - Microservices to expand the Miles Enterprise platform with scalable, cloud-native microservices. You will translate domain models into architectures and integrate with internal and external systems to enable seamless operations.

You will join an international team, work in a hybrid setup with flexible hours, and grow through structured onboarding with coaching to advance in your role.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of backend experience with Java, preferably Java 17/21.
• Experience building RESTful microservices and APIs.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL.
• English proficiency for clear communication.
• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores and cloud-native environments.

Responsabilidades

• Translate domain models into microservice architectures.
• Collaborate with internal API consumers and integrate with external systems.
• Develop scalable, cloud-native solutions with CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Apply a security-first mindset within the SDLC.
