Job summary

Revolut Ltd is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve foundational tools and frameworks powering our iOS frontend applications. You will contribute to scalable architectures and establish efficient workflows used across the mobile engineering teams.

The role requires 7+ years in iOS development, strong Swift UIKit and SwiftUI experience, and a track record of delivering high-quality apps via App Store and related channels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in iOS development.
• Experience releasing iOS apps via App Store, TestFlight, and enterprise distribution.
• Expertise in building iOS apps using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Xcode.
• Familiarity with iOS SDK for native app development.
• Experience collaborating with design and backend teams using UI/UX tools like Figma and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Active GitHub account and at least one published app available in an app store.

We’re looking for a skilled Platform Engineer with experience building applications for iOS devices. You'll help design, build, and evolve the foundational tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that power our frontend applications.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining reusable components, libraries, frameworks, and foundational tools that support iOS application development
• Building tools, automation, and workflows that simplify local development, testing, debugging, and release processes for frontend and mobile engineers
• Contributing to architectural decisions that improve modularity, maintainability, scalability, and consistency across iOS applications
• Defining and implementing elegant solutions to interesting problems
• Helping to define and maintain visual guidelines, ensuring consistency throughout the app
• Establishing and promoting best practices around code quality, testing, observability, reliability, and maintainable software design

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience in iOS development
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or a similar field
• Experience releasing iOS apps via the App Store, TestFlight, and enterprise distribution channels
• Expertise in building and maintaining iOS applications using technologies and tools like Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Xcode
• Familiarity with Swift and the iOS SDK for native app development
• Experience collaborating with design and backend teams using UI/UX tools, like Figma, and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs
• An active Github account
• At least one published app available to download in an app store

Nice to have

• A background in fintech or other high-volume transactional environment
• Experience in a startup or scale-up
• Experience leading engineering teams and driving technical delivery to ensure high-quality, timely project outcomes
• Experience mentoring, onboarding, and guiding developers, while sharing best practices and supporting team growth
