Mollie is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Edge & Networking team to guard Mollie’s gateway to the world. You’ll own critical infrastructure that handles every merchant transaction securely and reliably, contributing to our mission to make fintech scalable and accessible.

You will influence and shape our own GCP-style infra, lead by example, and collaborate with product teams to ship often without compromising security or reliability. Expect a high-performance, growth-focused environment.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in Platform or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Expertise in Cloud Networking & Kubernetes with cloud infra at scale (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong programming skills in Go or Python.
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• A proactive, leadership-oriented mindset—you are comfortable making high-stakes decisions and identifying technical challenges early.
• Nice to have: API Gateways, RabbitMQ/PubSub, PHP or Java, Lua.

Responsabilidades

• Design and operate highly available systems, implementing strategies for failure and ensuring 24/7 reliability.
• Optimize the Edge API Gateway for a high-performance experience for internal engineers and partners.
• Scale the Mollie Cloud Platform (MCP) through code-based automation.
• Collaborate across Engineering to set and maintain SLOs/SLAs for merchants.
• Drive observability and monitoring with tools like Datadog.
