Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire software development cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, and documentation.
- Ensure long‑term code reusability and stability.
- Proactively identify security, usability, and other technical issues and devise strategies to resolve them.
- Work independently and maintain a broad overview of the project.
- Take ownership of the delivery of complex application features and resolve key technical issues related to the assigned project.
- Comply with the estimation process and provide accurate personal estimates.
- Develop required software features, achieving timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Deliver trainings and participate in knowledge sharing.
- Mentor new software engineers within the team.
- Integrate new technologies and frameworks as needed.
- Understand and follow the company’s release processes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with PHP.
- Academic background in IT or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of PHP versions 7.3 to 8.1.
- Clear understanding of OOP, design patterns, anti‑patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with relational database management systems.
- Proficiency with project tools such as Atlassian, Git, or SVN.
- Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing layers.
- Knowledge of algorithms and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with e‑commerce solutions such as Magento, PrestaShop, CS‑Cart, xCart, or PHP CMSs (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.).
- Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6).
- Experience with services or microservices‑oriented architecture, ideally in e‑commerce.
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
