Match Profiler, an information systems consultancy, is expanding its backend team in Lisbon. We are seeking a PHP Developer with a passion for clean code, robust APIs, and scalable applications. This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon.

You will design and implement backend services using PHP 8, work with OpenAPI APIs, relational databases, and emphasize security and testing. Joining a multidisciplinary, agile team, you will grow with us through careful onboarding and continuous feedback.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in PHP 8 and API design with OpenAPI.
• Experience designing API-driven systems and working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and testing methodologies.

Hard Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP 8 and modern software development best practices.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs using OpenAPI.
• Solid experience with relational databases and database-driven applications.
• Knowledge of unit testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Good understanding of the OWASP Top 10 security principles and secure development practices.
• Experience using Git repositories and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong testing, validation, and delivery capabilities.
• Ability to develop maintainable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Docker environments.
• Knowledge of Linux and macOS systems.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools and processes.
