Merkle, a dentsu company, in Lisboa is hiring a Delivery Operations Analyst to support financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The role focuses on building Power BI reports, Python-based automation, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

You will work with data pipelines, improve data quality, and assist on AI RAG initiatives. A degree in CS/IT/Business and 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred, with English fluency required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of work experience in IT, administration, finance, or similar.
• Experience with data analytics and BI tools is a plus.
• Strong Excel modeling skills and basic Python knowledge.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate recurring analytical exercises such as the financial forecasting of business units
• Own and deliver on a small area of workstreams within strategic and operational projects
• Support budgeting and workforce planning processes
• Build and maintain reporting & forecasting models (excel)
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and supporting data structures
• Automate data extraction, processing, and analysis using Python
• Support data engineering work for AI RAG initiatives, including data preparation and pipeline reliability
• Monitor, validate, and report on system data quality and drive remediation of issues
• Support ad‑hoc Chief Delivery Officer requests and cross‑team projects

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration
• 2+ years of relevant work experience (IT, Administration, Finance, Accounting)
• Preferably some exposure to data analytics
• Comfortable using excel and building models that scale to Power BI Reports (knowledge of XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and similar)
• Knowledge in Python for data extraction, transformation, automation, and analysis is strongly preferred
• Experience working with BI Tools such as Power BI or willingness to learn
• Understanding of data pipelines, structured data handling, and data quality concepts
• Analytical ability with attention to accuracy and data integrity
• Strong task ownership and reliability in delivering defined workstreams
• Ability to interpret operational and financial metrics and build reporting around them
• Structured communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and recurring planning cycles
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to evolving priorities
• Fluent in English
