In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our company, acting as the go-to person who keeps our operations running smoothly, supports our team, and helps build an inspiring workplace culture.

What you’ll do

Office & Operations

• Keep our office running smoothly: from ordering supplies to making sure everyone has what they need to do their best work.
• Manage purchasing, tracking, and invoicing for lab and office supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers in Portugal and the UK and handle import/export logistics.
• Keep an eye on inventory and make sure everything stays organized.
• Help with travel arrangements, scheduling, and general administrative support.
• Support the optimization and automation of operational processes, helping us work more efficiently as we grow.

People & Culture

• Support our recruitment process: tracking applications, scheduling interviews, and helping candidates have a great experience.
• Welcome and onboard new team members so they feel part of the team from day one.
• Help plan internal events, team activities, and small celebrations that make work more fun.
• Keep internal communication clear, friendly, and engaging.

Leadership Support

• Assist senior leadership with scheduling, meeting prep, and day-to-day coordination.
• Jump in wherever needed to make sure things run efficiently.

What we’re looking for

• Fluency in English and advanced in Portuguese
