Job summary

EY is hiring a Payroll Data, Reporting & Automation Analyst (Payroll) to join our Portugal Shared Service Center in Viseu, supporting French payroll operations. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting, controls and automation to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.

You will collaborate with teams in France, develop Excel-based tools and VBA solutions, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within Payroll, ensuring high-quality service delivery in an international

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience in data analysis or reporting.
Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, Power Query and complex formulas.
Experience with VBA and automation.
Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality.
Fluent French (C1) and English (B2) for communication in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Support French Payroll teams with data extraction, validation, analysis and reporting.
Prepare control, reconciliation and analysis files for payroll production.
Perform data quality checks and investigate anomalies.
Produce operational reports and dashboards for payroll teams and management.
Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and automation solutions including VBA macros.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive activities and reduce manual workload.
Contribute to improving existing reporting and analytical tools.
Support continuous improvement and digital transformation in Payroll.
