P2P Finance Analyst - Porto | Supplier & Payments

Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks a proactive Procure-to-Pay Analyst to bridge our finance team with external partners in Porto. You will manage supplier relationships, monitor outstanding balances, and ensure timely payments, while upholding internal policies.

You’ll analyze data across the P2P cycle, prepare supplier performance reports, and drive process improvements with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Fluent English is required; French or Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or solid relevant work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, or related finance role.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and proficiency in the Procure-to-Pay cycle; experience with SAP or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the main point of contact for suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Monitoring outstanding balances and ensuring payments are made on time to avoid penalties.
• Performing regular reconciliations between internal records and supplier statements.
• Efficiently investigating and resolving discrepancies or billing issues.
• Collaborating with third-party providers to ensure timely processing of financial documents while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the Procure-to-Pay cycle; preparing supplier performance reports and KPIs.
