Volkswagen Financial Services – Portugal is seeking an experienced Oracle database developer to design, implement, and optimize Oracle databases and PL/SQL solutions. You will engage in data modelling, performance tuning, and participate in migrations within an international team.

The role requires a university degree in computer science, 5+ years of experience, fluent English (B2), and travel availability; German is a plus. A long-term contract with competitive benefits awaits.

• Develop, test and deploy solutions with go-live support.
• Monitor, tune and continuously improve database systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to defined standards.

In this role you will be responsible for:

We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:

• Complete university studies in computer science or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience working in international teams and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• German is a plus.
• Availability to travel.
