Volkswagen Financial Services – Portugal is seeking an experienced Oracle database developer to design, implement, and optimize Oracle databases and PL/SQL solutions. You will engage in data modelling, performance tuning, and participate in migrations within an international team.

The role requires a university degree in computer science, 5+ years of experience, fluent English (B2), and travel availability; German is a plus. A long-term contract with competitive benefits awaits.

Qualificações

• University degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in international teams/projects is a plus.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).
• German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain Oracle databases and applications.
• Program and optimize solutions using PL/SQL.
• Perform logical and physical data modelling.
• Optimize database structures, performance and PL/SQL code.
• Participate in database migration, automation and enhancement projects.
• Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications (nice to have).
• Create and maintain database tests and support testing across environments.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and technical issues.
• Develop, test and deploy solutions with go-live support.
• Monitor, tune and continuously improve database systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to defined standards.
