Jobgether SRL is seeking a Software Engineer - Python and Kubernetes to work remotely from Portugal. The role focuses on building open source operations software in Python, designed to automate workloads on Kubernetes, across the Linux stack, including networking, storage, virtualization, and containers.

You will join globally distributed teams to deliver production-grade cloud solutions and contribute to a strong reliability culture.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical field.
Strong professional experience developing software with Python.
Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration and production operations.
Practical experience with at least one public cloud platform.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and maintain open source Python-based operations software on Kubernetes.
Work across the Linux stack including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, containers, and apps.
Improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiency of open source systems.
Build and improve monitoring and alerting infrastructure for production operations.
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Follow agile methodologies and contribute to effective development workflows.
Share knowledge and coach colleagues to strengthen engineering capabilities.
