AgileEngine in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute hands-on to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanning tools to reduce false positives.

You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams, operating with minimal supervision on complex scripting and integration tasks.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex scripting tasks.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Tune and configure security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Assist in coding and deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide actionable remediation guidance in Java and Python.
