Job summary

Thales in Portugal, part of a global technology group in defense, security, aerospace and digital identity markets, is seeking a Finance Data & Master Data Coordinator for its TBSS Shared Service Center in Paço de Arcos.

You will manage new customer creation and ERP changes, assess credit risk for new customers, drive data quality initiatives, and run monthly statements reports in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Data Management or similar.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKups, pivot tables).
• Good written communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Knowledge of ERP systems - Oracle is a plus.
• Experience creating and validating companies as customers or suppliers is a plus.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.

Your Mission:

• Managing new customer creation and validating customer accounts;
• Handling customer account modifications in the ERP system;
• Credit Risk Assessment for New Customers;
• Data Management & Quality;
• Managing orders on holds (Risk assessment);
• Conducting periodic reviews of credit limits for existing customers;
• Run monthly statements reports.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor Degree, ideally in Accounting, Data Management or similar (alternative areas are not excluded);
• Data analysis and strong problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables are preferred);
• Good written communication skills in English (mandatory);
• Knowledge of ERP system - Oracle is a plus;
• Experience in creating and validating companies as customers or suppliers is a plus;
• Identifying and implementing data improvement initiatives related to master data is a plus;
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
