Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Roaming Operations Engineer L1.5 to join our team to operate and support International Roaming services. You will monitor roaming platforms around the clock, perform initial incident detection and troubleshooting, manage tickets, and collaborate with global operators to ensure service quality and availability.

The role requires basic knowledge of IP networks and mobile roaming, with experience in NOC/SOC/SNOC environments and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualificações

• Degree or technical education in Telecommunications, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking.
• Basic understanding of mobile networks and roaming services.
• Experience in NOC, SOC, or SNOC environments.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English within a technical environment (Mandatory).
• Availability to work in a 24x7 shift-

Responsabilidades

• Monitor International Roaming services and platforms on a 24x7 basis.
• Identify, analyze, and categorize incidents and service degradations.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting according to established operational procedures.
• Open, update, and track tickets through to resolution and closure.
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams, vendors, or partner operators when required.
• Ensure compliance with established SLAs and operational procedures.
• Participate in maintenance activities and planned works.
• Produce operational records and reports.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and identify automation opportunities.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Roaming Operations Engineer L1.5 to join the team responsible for the operation and support of International Roaming services.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure continuous monitoring of services, initial incident detection and handling, alarm management, and operational oversight of roaming platforms, ensuring service availability and quality for customers.

The candidate will be part of a 24x7 operational environment, working closely with specialized support teams, vendors, suppliers, and international operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor International Roaming services and platforms on a 24x7 basis.
