A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a Network Technician in Lisbon, Portugal. This role requires strong knowledge in network infrastructure, including Cisco equipment installation and management of IP networks. The ideal candidate will have experience with firewall platforms and excellent problem-solving skills. The position offers training and opportunities for professional growth within a motivated team.

Qualificações

• 3 years of professional experience in network infrastructure administration.
• Solid understanding of IP network operation and OSI model.
• Experience with switching technologies like VLANs and trunking.
• Routing with IPv4, subnetting, static and dynamic routes, HSRP/VRRP.
• Installation and configuration of Cisco equipment (routers and switches).
• Experience with Check Point and/or Fortinet firewall platforms.
• Physical management of server rooms, including patching and cabling.
• CUCM administration experience.
• Enterprise Wi‑Fi network implementation and management (Cisco/Fortinet).

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of network infrastructure administration and operation, with 3 years of professional experience.
• Principles of IP network operation and the OSI model;
• Switching technologies (VLAN, trunking, STP, LACP/PAgP, port security);
• Routing (IPv4, subnetting, static and dynamic routes, HSRP/VRRP);
• Installation and configuration of Cisco equipment, specifically routers and switches;
• Use of Check Point and/or Fortinet firewall management and administration platforms;
• Physical management of technical rooms, including structured patching, cabling planning, and rack organization;
• Administration of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) platform;
• Implementation and management of enterprise Wi-Fi networks (Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalents).
