BrightConnect in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to install, maintain and support our network and systems infrastructure.

You will work with the IT team to ensure smooth operation of all components, implement security measures, and provide user support. Minimum 2 years experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of experience in network and systems administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with managing Windows servers and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure security measures are in place to protect the company network.
• Maintain and upgrade server hardware and software as needed.
• Implement backup protocols to ensure data protection.
• Provide technical support for internal users regarding network connectivity or system issues.
• Document all network and system configurations.

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Lisbon Portugal

As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the installation maintenance and support of our companys network and systems infrastructure

You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all network and systems components

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain network equipment such as routers switches firewalls and VPNs
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure security measures are in place to protect the companys network from cyber threats
• Maintain and upgrade server hardware and software as needed
• Implement backup protocols to ensure data protection
• Provide technical support for internal users regarding network connectivity or system issues
• Document all network and system configurations for future reference

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in network and systems administration
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCPIP DNS DHCP etc
• Experience with managing Windows servers and Active Directory
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently
