Job summary

Findmore Consulting S.A. is strengthening its networking team in Portugal and seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure complex network infrastructures across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will configure routers, switches, VLANs, and firewalls, monitor traffic, and collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices. A strong WAF foundation and cloud networking exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

Experience as a Network Engineer or similar networking role.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with firewalls and network security.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of WAF technologies and web application security.
Experience in network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and VLANs.
Manage firewall rules, network access policies, and traffic flows.
Configure, maintain, and support Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.
Monitor network traffic and investigate connectivity and security issues.
Support the implementation of network security policies and best practices.
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure network availability and security.
Maintain network documentation and support infrastructure projects.
