Rumos Portugal is seeking a skilled Python/Django developer to design end-to-end automation for provisioning firewall rules on FortiGate and NSX-T, and to build robust API connectors across FortiManager/FortiOS and NSX-T Managers.

You will implement pre-change validation, safe rollback, and idempotent workflows to avoid production disruption, and you will write unit and integration tests to ensure compliance with internal security policies.

Qualificações

• Experience automating firewall rule provisioning with Python/Django.
• Ability to build and maintain API connectors for Fortinet and NSX-T ecosystems.
• Knowledge of pre-change validation, idempotent workflows, and safe rollback strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end Python/Django workflows to automate firewall rule requests, validations, approvals, and provisioning.
• Develop and maintain API connectors to orchestrate changes across FortiManager/FortiOS and NSX-T Managers.
• Implement pre-change validation, idempotent rollback mechanisms, and comprehensive tests.
• Document code, API contracts, and workflow designs for internal NetSecOps teams.

Profile:

• Design and develop end-to-end Python/Django workflows that automate the request, validation, approval, and provisioning of firewall rules on FortiGate and NSX-T;
• Develop and maintain robust API connectors to seamlessly orchestrate changes across FortiManager/FortiOS and NSX-T Managers;
• Implement pre-change validation (syntax, conflict detection) and safe rollback mechanisms (idempotency) to ensure zero disruption to production traffic;
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for the automation codebase and ensure all generated firewall rules strictly adhere to internal security policies and compliance requirements;
• Document code, API contracts, and workflow designs to ensure a seamless transition to internal NetSecOps teams.
