Nimber is seeking a Senior Automation Developer in Porto with a strong background in Python and Django to design and implement security automation workflows. You will automate firewall rule requests, provisioning, and API integrations across Fortigate and NSX-T, with a focus on validation, rollback, and test coverage.

Responsibilities include building robust automation backends, maintaining API contracts, and ensuring compliance with internal security policies.

Qualificações

• Strong dual background in Software Engineering (Python/Django + REST API) and Enterprise Network Security (Fortinet & VMware NSX-T).
• Experience with Python 3 and Django framework for building robust backends and APIs.
• Exposure to asynchronous task queues (Celery/Redis) for long-running network operations.
• CI/CD pipelines and IaC principles using Git, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.

Responsabilidades

• Design &Develop Automation Workflows: Build end-to-end Python/Django workflows for firewall rule provisioning on Fortigate and NSX-T.
• API Integration: Create connectors to orchestrate changes across FortiManager/FortiOS and NSX-T Managers.
• Failure Recovery & Dry-Run Logic: Implement validation and rollback to avoid production disruption.
• Testing & Security Compliance: Write unit/integration tests and ensure firewall rules meet security policies.
• Knowledge Transfer: Document code, API contracts, and workflows for NetSecOps teams.
