Rumos Portugal is seeking a security-focused professional to maintain security infrastructures and manage firewall policies. You will troubleshoot issues, implement security rules, and collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and SLAs.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a related degree and at least 1 year of experience, with knowledge of NSX-T, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and IT production

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience with network micro-segmentation technologies and the implementation of rules on traditional firewalls (NSX-T / VCF9 Network, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Experience configuring and managing security rules on firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, among others).
• Good knowledge of IT production environments (request, incident, and change management, as well as technical documentation).
• Good knowledge of French is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures, with a focus on quality, productivity, and security (Run).
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify the root causes of failures and flow disruptions.
• Implement and maintain security policies across security devices.
• Propose solutions to improve security policies.
• Define and implement best practices for security policy management.
• Provide expertise within the relevant area, offering advice, support, information, training, and alerts related to network security.
• Collaborate with specialists from other areas and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices (cybersecurity, quality, among others).
• Ensure the appropriate level of service quality, in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements, within the assigned area of responsibility.
