Capgemini Engineering in Portugal seeks a network operations/engineering professional to troubleshoot complex incidents and support LAN/WAN, routing, switching and security environments. You will monitor performance and coordinate with NOC teams and field technicians.

Ideal candidates have higher education in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or IT, plus experience in network operations. Knowledge of BGP/OSPF/MPLS/STP and familiarity with Cisco, Nokia, Huawei, Fortinet or Check Point is

Qualificações

• Higher education in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT or related field preferred.
• Experience in network operations, engineering or technical support.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, routing and switching.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents.
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, firewall and MPLS environments.
• Monitor network performance and implement changes or upgrades.
• Test new versions before production deployment.
• Support enterprise network services and collaborate with NOC teams.
