Job summary

Fyld is hiring a Network Engineer with strong Cisco expertise to support enterprise networking in Lisbon. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and robust knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and security.

You will work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to scalable, high-availability network solutions. The ideal candidate communicates well in English and has a background in data center

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, IT or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with LAN, WAN and WLAN environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching.
• Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs and access control.
• Experience with enterprise Wi‑Fi infrastructure, controllers and access points.
• Familiarity with Data Center networking and SD-WAN/SD-Access environments.
• Good understanding of network redundancy and high availability.
• Ability to analyze incidents, troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in technical teams and with different stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
