Fyld is seeking a Network Security Engineer with hands-on Fortinet expertise to join our growing cybersecurity team in Portugal. You will design, deploy and optimize FortiGate-based network security solutions within enterprise environments, collaborating closely with IT and security stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in network security, strong Fortinet certifications a plus, and a proven ability to implement secure connectivity, VPNs, and centralized management with FortiManager/

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network security and infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, particularly FortiGate.
• Experience configuring and managing firewall policies, NAT, routing and security policies.
• Experience with VPN technologies, including IPsec and SSL VPN.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with network security concepts such as segmentation, access control and secure connectivity.
• Experience with FortiManager and centralized firewall management.
• Familiarity with FortiAnalyzer and security/event monitoring.
• Experience with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN is valued.
• Experience integrating security solutions with enterprise network environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and security issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.

Your Profile
