Aubay Portugal is hiring a Network Engineer in Porto to manage and evolve network infrastructure across business and technical landscapes. The role involves defining architectures, maintaining network solutions, and coordinating with third-party suppliers while ensuring security and performance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in networking, certifications such as JNCIP/CCNP, strong English skills, and a willingness to travel across Europe.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree with 3–5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Proven expertise in Firewall Technologies Checkpoint and Fortinet.
• Strong ability to perform network trace analysis in complex environments.
• Certifications such as Juniper JNCIP or Cisco CCNP (CCNA considered).
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing) mandatory.
• Knowledge of Trading networks/protocols (SWIFT, FIX) and ITIL Change Management advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proactive and willing to travel across Europe.
• Customer focus and teamwork highly valued.

What will you do?

What are we looking for?

At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:

• An Engineering Degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions as a Network Engineer;
• Proven expertise in Firewall Technologies, specifically Checkpoint and Fortinet, alongside a strong understanding of network service providers and Data Centre Infrastructure;
• Proficiency in network trace analysis within critical and complex environments and a strong security-oriented mindset;
• Certification such as Juniper JNCIP or Cisco CCNP (CCNA can be considered);
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is mandatory, with knowledge of Trading networks/protocols (e.g., SWIFT, FIX) and ITIL Change Management processes being advantageous;
