Fyld is hiring a Network Automation Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal. You will design, implement and maintain automated network solutions, focusing on programmability and scalable infrastructure.

You will work with Cisco/Juniper/Arista gear, use Ansible and Python to automate provisioning, validation and monitoring, and collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-impact projects.

Fluency in English is required, with a passion for learning and growth.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or automation.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing and switching.
• Experience with enterprise network technologies (LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing, services).
• Knowledge of BGP/OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista devices.
• Experience with network automation and configuration management.
• Strong experience with Ansible for network automation.
• Knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience with REST APIs and network APIs.
• Understanding of network programmability and infrastructure as code.
• Experience automating configuration, provisioning, validation or operations.
• Ability to develop reusable automation scripts, playbooks and workflows.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, ACLs, secure management).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and automation issues.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network engineering, network automation or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing and switching
• Professional experience with enterprise network technologies, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing and network services
• Good knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Experience with network devices and technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista or similar
• Professional experience with network automation and configuration management
• Strong experience with Ansible for network automation
• Knowledge of Python for network automation and scripting
• Experience working with REST APIs and network APIs
• Understanding of network programmability and infrastructure as code concepts
• Experience automating network configuration, provisioning, validation or operational tasks
• Ability to develop reusable automation scripts, playbooks and workflows
• Experience with Git and version control practices
• Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, ACLs and secure management protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and automation issues
• Experience working with monitoring, logging and network observability solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in Agile or collaborative engineering teams
• Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Cisco ACI, SDN or data centre networking
• Knowledge of NetBox or similar network source-of-truth platforms
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Knowledge of NAPALM, Nornir or similar network automation frameworks
• Experience with YANG, NETCONF or RESTCONF
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for network automation
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure or GCP
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certification
