Job summary

FCiências.ID is offering a Research Fellowship for MSc students to develop an LLM pipeline aimed at automatic extraction of plant-microbe interactions related to drought stress tolerance. Candidates with a Bachelor's in Biology and programming skills in Python or R are encouraged to apply.

The fellowship is based at the LASIGE Research Centre, University of Lisbon, with an allowance of €1,040.98 per month and potential contract renewal after 3 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology with minor in Informatics.
• Knowledge of large language models and ontologies.
• Preferred programming skills in Python, R, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate a prompt-engineered LLM pipeline.
• Curate a domain-specific annotated corpus.
• Identify novel microbial interactions related to drought stress.
