• Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.

• Permanent residence in Portugal at start of grant.

Responsibilities

• Join PHAME project team to advance sustainable agriculture with PHA mulch films.
• Optimize microbiological processes for biopolymer production (PHA).
• Assess ecological impact of PHA in soils, including soil biodiversity and PLFA.
• Apply bioinformatics to analyze bacterial genomes.
