INIAV, the National Institute for Agricultural and Veterinary Research in Portugal, announces one Research Fellowship for holders of a master's degree, within the scope of project/operation 415405 PEPAC-009618 "Conservação e Melhoramento Genético em Oliveira (Olea europaea L.)." Funded by PEPAC Portugal under the CAP 2023–2027.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field.
• Proof of enrolment in a PhD cycle or non-degree course to be submitted at contract signing.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of program activities focusing on olive groves conservation and breeding.
• Participate in genetic material prospecting and vegetative propagation of accessions.
• Monitor greenhouse/field conditions and perform agronomic/phenological evaluations.
• Record and process experimental data and carry out other technical tasks to meet program objectives.
