Job summary

COFAC, integrado na Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, abre concurso para gestão de projetos de investigação a tempo inteiro. O cargo envolve apoiar atividades CeiED, organizar eventos de divulgação e gerir oportunidades de financiamento.

É exigida formação superior (Bacharelado/Mestrado) com experiência em gestão de projetos de I&D, domínio de Português e Inglês e capacidade de liderança e trabalho em equipa.

Qualifications

• Bacharelado e/ou mestrado concluído.
• Experiência comprovada em gestão de projetos de pesquisa.
• Proeficiência oral e escrita em Português e Inglês.
• Conhecimento de programas nacionais e internacionais de financiamento de I&D.
• Habilidades de liderança e capacidade de trabalhar em equipa.

Responsibilities

• Dar apoio às atividades CeiED.
• Organizar eventos de divulgação e transferência de conhecimento no âmbito de projetos CeiED.
• Gerir o processo de informações sobre oportunidades de financiamento disponíveis.
• Coordenar e gerir projetos de I&D, incluindo apoio técnico, orçamento, comunicação com agências de financiamento e implementação de projetos financiados nacional e internacionalmente.
• Apoiar recrutamento de recursos humanos e processamento de dados, elaboração de relatórios e pareceres de suporte à decisão.

Job/position: Project Management Contract (Bachelor/Master)

An open call is being launched for a fixed-term, 12-months, renewable Bachelor/Master contract, within the scope of the CeiED activities , under the following conditions:

Admission Requirements:

• Bachelor and/or Master;
• Training and/or proven experience in Research project management functions;
• Oral and written proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Knowledge and experience with national and international funding R&D programs;
• Leadership skills and strong motivation for teamwork, combining organization and meeting deadlines;
• Communication skills and the ability to establish collaborative relationships with national and international partners;
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and find solutions to challenges - whether technical, interpersonal, or strategic.

Work Plan:

• Support to CeiED activities;
• Support in the organization of dissemination, information and knowledge transfer events in the scope of CeiED projects;
• To manage the process of periodic information availability concerning the available funding opportunities;
• Coordination and management of R&D projects, including technical support in the scope of contracts, budget management, communication with funding agencies, and implementation of national and international funded projects;
• Support in human resources recruitment and selection processes within the scope of the projects;
• Data management and processing, report writing and preparation of decision support opinions.

Conditions of employment:

a) Fixed term contract of 12 months, renewable.

b) The average monthly salary will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, in addition to a meal allowance.

c) 35 hours per week, subject to compliance with the daily schedule, under the terms of the applicable legislation and internal regulations.

Selection method:

a) The applications admitted to the competition will be assessed considering the quality, timeliness, and relevance of the professional curriculum of the applicants, in addition to the level of adequacy to the proposed work plan - (60%).

Criteria for assessing the curricular assessment:

1. Final classification in each of the academic degrees;

2. Proven knowledge of national legislation relating to higher education and science;

3. Proven knowledge of national and international funding models for scientific research;

4. Experience in recruitment processes of human resources for R&D activities.

b) The interview will apply only to candidates placed in the first positions after the curricular analysis.

Interview (40%)

Criteria for assessing the evaluation of the interview:

1. Interpersonal skills;

2. Analysis of the suitability of the candidate's career development plan to the needs of CeiED and vice-versa;

3. Analysing experience with practical and direct questions to prove knowledge considered relevant.
