Research Grant (BI) within the scope of the project “INOV4Industry - Transferir conhecimento científico e tecnologia para a Indústria” of the Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra, with the operation code COMPETE2030-FEDER-01458200, under the Notice Code (COMPETE2030-2024-6), co-financed by the European Union through the COMPETE 2030 Programme and Portugal 2030, within the “Sistema de Ações Coletivas – Transferência do conhecimento científico e tecnológico”.

Scientific Areas: Business Sciences (CNAEF 34) or Communication, Desing and Marketing.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Sciences (CNAEF 34) or Communication, Desing and Marketing, and
• Be enrolled in a Master’s degree, Integrated Master’s degree, or a non-degree awarding course;

or

• Hold a Master’s degree in Business Sciences (CNAEF 34) or Communication, Desing and Marketing, and
• Be enrolled in a non-degree awarding course.

Specific Requirements

Applicants must:

Additional Information

The monthly maintenance allowance is €1.090,98, for the performance of R&D activities by Master’s degree students, Integrated Master’s degree students, or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree holders enrolled in non‑degree awarding courses (BI). Payment will be made monthly by bank transfer. The amount includes voluntary social security (first level) if the fellow opts for enrolment and covers personal accident insurance.

Eligibility criteria

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Sciences (CNAEF 34) or Communication, Desing and Marketing, and
• Be enrolled in a Master’s degree, Integrated Master’s degree, or a non‑degree awarding course;

or

• Hold a Master’s degree in Business Sciences (CNAEF 34) or Communication, Desing and Marketing, and
• Be enrolled in a non‑degree awarding course.

Documents to be submitted

Applications must include the following documents :

• Personal identification, address, number of the identification document, and tax identification number ;
• Cover letter clearly stating the candidate’s motivation for the proposed work plan and their availability to start the fellowship on the scheduled date;
• Updated Curriculum Vitae , clearly describing qualifications and skills;
• Official academic degree certificate(s) with final grade(s);
• Proof of enrolment in a cycle of studies or non‑degree awarding course;
• For degrees obtained abroad: recognition certificate in accordance with applicable legislation.

Selection Methods

The selection process will consist of Curriculum Evaluation (100%). Curriculum Evaluation (CE)will consider:

• CE1. Final classification of Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Integrated Master’s degree (45%)2
• CE2. Additional academic/professional training (15%)
• CE3. Relevant professional experience, preferably related to the activities to be performed in the project (25%)

The final classification (FC), on a scale of 1 to 20, will be calculated as follows:

The results will be published as a ranked list of candidates by final classification within 15 working days after the deadline for applications, via email to all candidates.
