KCS IT is seeking a mid-level Fullstack Java/React developer to join our Porto team. The role focuses on building scalable backend with Java/Spring and modern frontend with React/Next.js, delivering RESTful services and microservices, in a hybrid Porto-based setup.

You will work with MySQL, AWS, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines, in cross-functional agile teams, with a strong emphasis on code quality, DevOps practices, and English communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development with Java.
• Strong knowledge of OO principles, patterns, clean code, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot; backend scalability and maintainability.

We are looking for an Amazing: Fullstack Java/React
Seniority: Mid-level (4+ years)
Type of position: Hybrid model in Porto. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!
The amazing you, will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• 4+ years of experience in software development with Java, preferably using recent versions of the language;
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering best practices;
• Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot and experience developing scalable, maintainable backend applications;
• Solid experience with React and Next.js, with the ability to develop modern, responsive, and high-quality frontend applications;
• Strong experience working with MySQL and relational databases, including SQL and database design principles;
• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application architectures;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures, including producing and consuming messages;
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with Microservices architectures;
• Good understanding of software testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and a DevOps mindset;
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
