Job summary

Quadrante is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join our Industry Business Unit in Lisbon. You will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, have 5+ years in engineering design project management, advanced English, and strong coordination and cost-control skills to drive complex projects across data centers, logistics centers and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Pre‑Bologna Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Fluency in additional languages (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering design project management or multidisciplinary engineering coordination (mandatory).
• Proven track record in project management, including multidisciplinary design team coordination, scheduling, and cost control (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of the different stages of the engineering design lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage multidisciplinary engineering design projects from handover through to final delivery, across our key Industry sectors (Data Centers, Logistics Centers, Gigafactories, Factories, Green Energy, Energy Transition, Mining).
• Plan and coordinate the engineering disciplines required for each project, working with technical leads for multidisciplinary integration.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements, scope, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, invoicing, and resources to meet deadlines and targets.
• Manage external subcontractors, including scope definition, negotiation, cost control, coordination, and delivery.
• Act as the main day‑to‑day interface with the client throughout project execution.
• Identify and manage project risks, constraints, and dependencies.
• Support new business opportunities arising from ongoing projects and client relationships.
