BIP Portugal is seeking a Data Scientist specialized in Marketing to join our growing analytics team. You will design, build, and deploy advanced statistical models to support marketing decisions across investment, targeting, and customer engagement for leading clients, particularly in CPG environments.

You will translate modelling outputs into actionable recommendations that drive measurable business impact, collaborating with marketing, media, and finance stakeholders to ensure model relevance

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in data science, marketing science, or advanced analytics.
• Solid foundation in statistical and machine learning modelling (regression, classification, time-series, causal inference)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks (Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
• Experience with operations research / optimization models in Python
• Experience working with CPG / consumer goods data
• Solid understanding of marketing dynamics in a CPG context (customer behavior, media channels, promotions, and sales drivers)

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, validate, and maintain marketing effectiveness models, including response modelling, attribution, and media/channel impact analysis
• Translate modelling outputs into budget allocation, ROI, targeting, and campaign optimization recommendations
• Calibrate, validate, and continuously improve model performance and robustness
• Work closely with business stakeholders (marketing, media, finance) to ensure model relevance and adoption
• Present complex analytical findings in a clear, structured, and business-oriented way
