Aptiv procura engenheiro(a) de testes elétricos para projetar, desenvolver e padronizar soluções de teste para harnesses automotivos. Necessária formação em engenharia elétrica ou mecatrônica e mínimo de 3 anos de experiência na área, com inglês avançado e disponibilidade para viagens na região EMEA.

Qualificações

• Graduação em engenharia elétrica, mecatrônica ou área relacionada.
• Experiência mínima de 3+ anos como Electrical Test Engineer.
• Conhecimento de mecatrônica, incluindo eletrônica, computação e mecânica.
• Conhecimento básico de Python, C++ ou PLC é um plus.
• Excelente comunicação em inglês (escrita e falada).

Responsabilidades

• Projetar, desenvolver e implementar procedimentos e equipamentos de teste elétrico para harnesses.
• Interpretar especificações do cliente para soluções de teste compatíveis.
• Colaborar com equipes multifuncionais para desenvolver novas máquinas e processos de teste.
• Padronizar equipamentos e procedimentos de teste entre fábricas.
• Localizar e resolver problemas relacionados a sistemas de teste elétrico.
• Utilizar pneumática, mecatrônica e programação básica para desenvolver sistemas de teste automatizados.
• Trabalhar com placas I/O e integrá-las nos setups de teste.
• Preparar e manter documentação: planos de teste, relatórios e SOPs.
• Fornecer suporte técnico e treinamento a pessoal de fábrica.
• Garantir conformidade com normas, normas de segurança e requisitos do cliente.
• Comunicar de forma eficaz em inglês com equipes internas, fornecedores e clientes.
• Viajar até 60% dentro da região EMEA para suporte de testes.

Your Role

Design, develop, and implement electrical testing procedures and equipment for wiring harnesses.

Understand and interpret customer specifications to develop compliant testing solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new testing machinery and processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Standardize testing equipment and procedures across multiple factories to ensure consistency and quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical test systems, machinery, and wiring harnesses.

Utilize knowledge of pneumatics, mechatronics, and basic programming to develop and optimize automated test systems.

Work with I/O boards, understanding their functions and integrating them into testing setups.

Prepare and maintain documentation, including test plans, reports, and standard operating procedures.

Provide technical support and training to factory personnel to ensure proper use and maintenance of new testing equipment.

Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers in English to ensure clear understanding of project goals and deliverables.

Travel up to 60% of the time within the EMEA region to support factory testing, implementation of new equipment, and customer collaboration.

Your Background

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) as an Electrical Test Engineer, preferably in the automotive or wiring harness industry.

Strong understanding of mechatronics, including electronics, computers, and mechanical systems.

Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.G., Python, C++, or PLC programming) is a plus.

Solid understanding of pneumatics and experience working with I/O boards.

Experience in designing, developing, and standardizing testing machinery and processes.

Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the EMEA region.
