Job summary

Bontaz Portugal is seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and availability of industrial equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. You will troubleshoot technical issues and implement improvements to enhance safety, productivity and equipment performance.

You will also be responsible for the maintenance documentation for all equipment in the building, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably automotive or series production.
• Solid knowledge of standards such as IATF 16949 and DL50.
• Experience creating maintenance documentation: preventive maintenance plans, procedures, and records.
• Familiarity with machinery safety legislation and CE marking.
• Experience with internal, customer and certification audits.
