Bosch Car Multimedia, S.A. in Portugal seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support production, analyze root causes and implement improvements. The role involves mechanical design, DFA/DFM, and collaboration across technical teams within an automotive electronics environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong CAD/CAM skills (AutoCAD, Inventor), and knowledge of Lean, Industry 4.0, FMEA and TPM. Willingness to rotate shifts and travel is expected.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Good CAD/CAM knowledge.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Experience in preventive/intervention maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial environments and production processes.
• Team player with strong communication.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, FMEA, RCM and TPM.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong English reading, speaking and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Support production in root cause analysis and containment/corrective actions.
• Prepare and propose solutions (concept/process/material).
• Drive continuous improvement in mechanics, pneumatics, and analog/digital electronics.
• Mechanically develop/design components applying DFA/DFM.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical systems and machine elements.
• Perform functional analysis during device/machine approvals.
• Collaborate with other tech teams to improve issue response.
