ActAI is seeking an LLM Application Engineer in Portugal to build the intelligence layer powering AI experiences. You will design agent workflows, integrate models and tools, and own problems end-to-end from user needs to production-ready AI behavior.

You will work at the intersection of LLMs, software engineering, and product to deliver reliable, observable AI workflows that scale with performance and cost considerations.

Qualificações

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building AI-powered applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, or agent-based systems.
• Experience designing prompts, workflows, evaluations, or AI behaviour.

Responsabilidades

• Build AI-powered experiences by designing agent workflows and integrating models and tools.
• Develop reliable, observable AI systems with reasoning, memory, and multi-step execution.
• Turn probabilistic model outputs into predictable actions and robust user experiences.
• Create evaluation frameworks and datasets to measure AI quality and regressions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI features quickly and safely.
