PrimeIT in Porto is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end AI pipelines and deploy LLMs for client platforms. You will work closely with software engineers, data specialists, and product teams to implement scalable AI solutions that meet business objectives.

The role supports a hybrid work model in Porto, with responsibilities spanning AI architecture, MLOps, monitoring, and governance to continuously improve model performance and security.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning, or a similar role.
• Strong background in software engineering, digital platforms, and enterprise-scale technology delivery.
• Experience defining and implementing AI or technology strategies in complex environments.
• Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications.
• Experience with Agentic AI concepts and implementation patterns.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices, model monitoring, observability, and Agile methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end AI pipelines, transforming complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs), ensuring high performance and seamless integration with client platforms.
• Implement AI-focused CI/CD pipelines, automate data workflows, orchestrate AI agents, and manage the full AI lifecycle through monitoring, reporting, and governance.
• Evaluate, benchmark, and continuously optimize AI models and services to improve accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and real-time performance.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data specialists, and product teams to deliver innovative AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Contribute to AI architecture decisions, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
