Marsh in Lisbon is seeking an Insurance Specialist to join our Construction/Engineering team. The role blends risk analysis, client management, and market negotiations for complex projects, with on-site client work and collaboration with a global team.

You should have a Civil Engineering background, construction insurance know-how, Project Finance experience, and fluency in English and Portuguese, plus MS Office proficiency. This hybrid role requires three office days per week.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Construction/Engineering insurance know-how including clauses, taxes, liabilities, contracting, project finance, claims.
• Experience in Project Finance and in negotiating and placing insurance for construction/engineering sectors.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and advise on risks and insurance for construction/engineering tenders, projects, claims and concessions.
• Focus on client management and markets related to construction/engineering risks and insurances.
• Be present on-site with clients and get familiar with their projects.
• Design, submit to markets and negotiate insurance programs.
• Maintain continuous and strategic contact with the insurance market.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to deliver a complete client experience.
