Job summary

Marsh is seeking a talented Insurance Specialist for our Insurance Specialties team based in Lisbon. This hybrid role requires being in the office at least three days per week and frequent on-site collaboration with clients on construction and engineering risks.

You will analyze risks, advise on insurance programs, negotiate markets, and maintain close market contacts. Collaboration with local and international teams will be key to delivering best-in-class client experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree or master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Construction/Engineering insurance know-how (clauses, taxes, liabilities, contracting, project finance, claims).
• Relevant experience in Project Finance.
• Experience negotiating and placing insurance for the construction/engineering sector.
• English and Portuguese language proficiency.
• Advanced proficiency working with MS Office.

• Be present and work as one with our clients (on-site presence and getting familiar with their projects);
• Design, submit to markets and negotiate insurance programs;
• Maintain a continuous and strategic contact with the insurance market;
• Work with a local and international specialized team in order to provide the best and most complete experience to our clients.

What you need to have:

• A degree or masters degree in Civil Engineering or other related field;
• Construction/Engineering insurance know-how (clauses, taxes, liabilities, contracting, project finance, claims, etc.);
• Relevant experience in Project Finance;
• Experience negotiating and placing insurance for the construction/engineering sector;
• English and Portuguese language proficiency;
• Advanced proficiency working with Msc Office.
