Zohorecruit in Lisbon is seeking a Sysadmin/Engineering HGW for a hybrid role on our Talent Team. You will troubleshoot Linux-based Home Gateway Devices, review configurations, and perform root-cause analysis across complex networks.

Your responsibilities include debugging Linux systems, network diagnostics with Wireshark and tcpdump, and developing automation scripts in Python or Bash. Experience with OpenWRT and embedded Linux is valued.

Qualificações

Strong Linux system experience with debugging, configuration and scripting.
Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge and related services.
Experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark/tcpdump.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsabilidades

Perform advanced troubleshooting of Linux-based Home Gateway Devices (HGWs).
Conduct low-level Linux analysis including shell operations and memory usage.
Investigate Wi‑Fi issues: coverage, interference, channel utilization, and performance.
Reproduce customer-reported issues in labs and characterize them with logs and captures.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline testing and logging.
Create and maintain technical documentation for processes and analyses.
