We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system availability, stability, and performance while participating in preventive maintenance activities and an on-call support rotation .
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support Linux-based production environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, proactively identifying potential issues.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and infrastructure-related problems.
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities to ensure service reliability and operational excellence.
- Take part in an on-call rotation and provide support outside business hours when required.
- Manage and support database environments, preferably SQL-based.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
- Follow IT Service Management processes and best practices aligned with ITIL.
- Contribute to cloud, automation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration .
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure operations and system support.
- Experience working with SQL databases .
- Understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices .
- Knowledge of scripting for automation and task optimization , technologies such as Shell/Bash and Python .
- English proficiency at C1 level written and spoken.
- Availability to participate in on-call and preventive support rotations .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dynatrace .
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies .
- Experience with Ansible .
- Experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and automation frameworks.
