Inetum in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our operations team. You will maintain Linux production environments, ensure system availability, and participate in on-call support rotations.

You will monitor performance, resolve incidents, automate tasks with Shell/Bash and Python, and collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams on automation and cloud transformation initiatives.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and infrastructure operations.
• Strong hands-on Linux administration skills with production environments.
• Experience with SQL databases and data management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
• Scripting skills in Shell/Bash and Python for automation.
• English proficiency at least C1 (written and spoken).
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, maintain, and support Linux-based production environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify issues.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and infrastructure problems.
• Participate in preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Take part in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Manage and support SQL databases and related environments.
• Develop scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to deliver stable solutions.
• Follow ITIL processes and best practices in daily work.
• Contribute to cloud, automation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
