Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to advance administration of Red Hat Linux, ensure high availability, and optimize Kubernetes/OpenShift in hybrid cloud contexts. You will design secure infrastructure and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.

The role requires 5+ years in Linux/Unix environments, cloud experience with Azure or AWS, and strong scripting and CI/CD skills. Hybrid work model applies, with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Administrator.
• Strong architecture understanding of Unix/Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Terraform and Ansible experience required.
• Experience integrating automation with Git and CI/CD.
• Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Knowledge of Docker/containers, networking basics, and HA concepts.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

What will you do?

• Perform advanced administration of Red Hat Linux environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms in hybrid cloud contexts.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure architectures.
• Automate infrastructure processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Administer and integrate cloud solutions, specifically Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and resolve critical issues in complex production environments.
